USA????

Thought it might be interesting....

Saw this product while in Thailand. Ermmm..USA?? Actually it's Thai "alphabet" and it reads "Breeze". Yes, "Breeze", I'm not kidding. It's a laundry detergent and was wondering why would anyone name a laundry detergent "USA". Well, found out that it isn't English. Well, that figures... hehehehe... still it's interesting. Says a lot about my ignorance! Oh well....should have known, I was in Thailand..hehehe...

Interesting huh?

...not since the Pan Am days....

Thought this was interesting. Was in Koh Samui and I think it was Bangkok Airways but check it out!! There's no "bridge" connecting the plane to the gate, they put you in a bus and send you out to the runway to hop on the plane!! INTERESTING experience, haven't done that since I was a little kid myself, sure brought back memories. By the way, the whole Koh Samui airport IS interesting. The airport's open as in open air, as in there's no buildings, it's all little shelter huts here and there acting as terminals, checkpoints and lounges, every the laidback! Now, that's what you call COOL!!! hehehehe... You can even see the planes landing right in right of your eyes, and I'm not exergerating. I wished I had some pics to prove but thing is, the pics didn't turn out good. It was taken at night and the plane was really too fast to be capture by my little point and shoot camera. Too bad...probably next time..;)

My Koh Samui Vacation

Koh Samui, my husband's birth place. It's so beautiful and peaceful, so far still considered untouched by ugly tourism and concrete forests. The weather there was brutal; real hot and humid. The food there; overly spicy. But you know what, it's overall a worthwhile treat, just look at the pictures!

Back to WORK!

Finally back home after 3.5 weeks of hustle and bustle of vacation, if you even call that a vacation. Still suffering from the jet lag but not as much as my little boy who, right now, not only suffers from jet lag but also suffers from the lack of 100% attention that has now turned him from an independent toddler to a complete pitiful clingy little baby.....*sigh* It's so sad yet so frustrating at the same time. I hope and PRAY that time would change him back into that independent dare devil who got left behind home when we left for our vacation!
Meanwhile, need to get back into this time zone and blog further...ciao Of course, pics included!

Countdown!

"I have something to say........" Posted by Hello

Before the weekend starts, I better start to get serious and really list down all the last minute stuff that we need to do! It's not even funny anymore...there's so much to be done before we leave for our vacation back home. On top of that, we are supposed to go to the Thai New Year celebration tomorrow at this temple. I'm not sure if we can even make it, thought it would be cool to see how the DFW Thai community celebrates Thai New Year. Errmmm....might be a tad stupid sounding here, but never did occur to me that Thai has a New Year too!! *DOH*

Anyway, don't think we can make it, besides, like I've said, we have one hundred and one things to do AND prepare before we leave on Thursday! *GULP* I can't believe we would be going back already.

Husband: Are you excited to go back?
Me: Can't really think about it.
Husband: Why?
Me: No why, when you have about 1 million things to do and only you to do it plus having to take care of a hyper-active kid, it's tough to think about the trip
Husband: Okkkkk...what you want me to do then
Me: STOP ASKING ME STUPID QUESTIONS AND MAKE SURE YOU CALL THE PED!!!

Husband decides to change topic......

Husband: So you like the camera pouch?
Me: It sucks, doesn't even hold the camera in place...better return it and get another one...*sigh* NOW we have ANOTHER thing to do on the list, RETURN THAT POUCH!!! *PULLING HAIR*

Ok...I'm in a real "touchy" mood lately...I think it's all the stress of going back home. Plus the fact that I'm a little OBSESSIVE with every little detail doesn't help...I really need to chill and relax a little!!! Hopefully the trip will help..HA!

Anyway, may the truth be said, I'm happy to be going back home for some time off and to let everyone see my little boy in person. YES person, he's a real personailty!!! And to celebrate his first B-day back home! ANOTHER STRESS!!! ARRGHHHH.....ok...I think I over think too much!! say to myself....RELAX!!!

I've to learn to chill and also block out hurtful remarks that I WILL BE SURE TO ENCOUNTER when I get back home. Back home, a place where Miss Eternal Aneroxia competition is always on....GREAT! My only defense mechanism, ok, I've none. I'll just have to use my super powers to block out all those tactless, meant-well-but-underlay-with-self-consolating-narcissitic, hurtful, bitchy, smirking, mean remarks from hypocrites! Curse of the Bumblebee, anyone who mentions weight or EVEN think about saying something about it to me shall be "condemn" with gaining 10X my weight *wicked grin*

Ok...I admit, I've some weight issues...but then I've a baby not too long ago (alright....almost a year ago..but so WHAT!! :p). But I've been good lately, exercising and what not...hey, it's tough, tough coz I don't have time! Soon I'll run out of excuses...hehehe...anyway, that's my story/excuse and I'm sticking to it! :p And that's that! Period! *grabs another donut* NOT!!! LOL

Happy Weekend to ALL!!:D

They MADE ME EAT!!!!

Pitiful Posted by Hello

Yes, Ethan ate, we made him eat, again, no, we didn't force feed him. We just made sure he had something in his tummy. He wanted to play and chase the dog but we sat him down in his high chair, belted him and put his veges and chicken and let him take his "time" to eat till he was done. It was a loooonnnggggg meal but we survived (us, as in my husband and I!!!) As for Ethan, that was what happened thereafter. He's truly one sad kid, can't sit for too long....It's seriously pitiful!

Oh yah....I'm back to the virtual world after 5 days of NO INTERNET CONNECTION!!! Yes, we were back AGAIN! Long story...as usual! Ok...let's see...a week and a half till we are back home!! Can't wait!

Food Strike!

 Posted by Hello

"Mommy, I ain't eating anything!! Try all you want! There's no way anything is getting into this mouth!!"

Yup, that's the news of the weekend. My kid's on a some sort of a food strike! Considering how much I love to eat, I wonder where he gets it from...

He've decided that he no longer needs any more food and minimal milk. And it's just a waste of time and effort to eat...err...unless it's Cheerios! I GIVE UP!!! Each time I try to feed him something, he would start swinging his hands in the attempts of knocking the spoon, screaming, whinning and crying all at the same time(when you think about it, he's pretty good about the multi-tasking thing!!). Not only that, he would also clamp his mouth shut! Ok....I know I'm no Iron Chef..but hey.....you can't screw up baby food!!!

In any case, I've given up hope of feeding him his usual food and would just give him his milk and cheerios. I figure that if he's hungry, he'd eat again....*PRAY* And NO! I'm not abusing my child, it's just that he doesn't want to eat and force feeding him WOULD be abusing him. On the bright side, he's still eating Cheerios!!!

Meanwhile, I'll be praying that he will get hungry soon and get his appetite back.....poor baby! Someone told me that he might be teething which might have cause his loss of appetite....err....does it cause temper tantrums too????

Tomorrow is another llllloooonnnnngggg dayyyyyyyy.....*sigh*

The CURSE of the ANGRY BEE!

BEWARE THE WRATH OF THE ANGRY BEE!

Before I begin, let me say this, I HATE ROAD RAGERS!
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!! AND YOU ARE ETERNALLY CURSED BY THE BUMBLEBEE!!!

There I was, happily driving home after some grocery shopping with my little boy. Great spring day, bright blue sky, perfect weather (75F), great song on the radio, blah blah blah...you get the idea. Then there he was, right behind me, stopping at a red light, waiting for me to make a right turn. Thing is, I can make a right even it's a red light as long as there's no other cars in my way and of course, I've to yield to oncoming cars. So there I was, waiting for those cars to clear so that I can turn. GUESS WHAT!! The minute the last car zoomed by, the idiot behind me started to honk at me!!!!! Errmmmm excuse for the delay but wouold it be possible for me to take my left foot off the brake pedal so that I can step on the accelerator?!?!!??!?!!? SON OF A B***H!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a mere 2 seconds, is that so much to ask?!?! What's the rush?!?!?! Now, not only did he keep honking till I move, he overtook me immediately once he got on that road and gave me the finger!!!

At this point, most people would be beginning to think that this moron must be some crude uncouth A**hole, forget about it, so on and so forth. Oh NO!!! He's well-dressed with a tie, seemingly looking "professional" and driving a pretty decent car. What makes me even madder was that he seems to think what he did was justified!!!!! He's got this make-me-sick smirk on his stupid face, thinking to himself that he did a big difference in the world by being a real JACKASS!

The point is, what did he think he was achieving by being 2 seconds faster than me?!?!?!? I don't want to go too indepth of what that moron was thinking; nonetheless I wonder...

I wonder what drove him to react the way he did, that is, to make a big thing out of nothing. I wonder why was he endowed with a small brain and an even smaller reproductive organ(how I would know requires another blog, long theory!). By gesturing and honking gives him some pleasure in his life...now that is sad!!! Does he think that his whole life is set by being some nameless road rager who gestures at people who have normal human reflexes?!?!?!? Does he feel that he has somehow save the world and solve world hunger by honking at careful non-suicidal drivers?!?

The main point to all this ranting here is that S***HEAD pissed me off!!!!! I wasn't doing anything wrong and he totally ruined my day by being an idiot!!! The only thing he would have possibly acheive today was to create another road rager, ME! And no, I didn't stoop to his level to gesture nor horn. I would have but I'm a reformed road rager....(another long story)...

So to this nameless road rager, may your days be ruined by other miserable road ragers like you!!

AIM!

For some unknown reasons (probably supernatural!!), each time I attempted to messenge my best buddy, she logs off! Or at least her AIM logs her off. Ok...I'm seriously getting cheesed off and it doesn't help when my husband laughs and says that she's probably trying to avoid you coz you bitch too much (ok....I use the word "bitch", complain, whine....etc...same difference!)

WHATEVER!!!

I know for a fact!!! that she's trying to contact me too! AAAARRRGGGHHHH!! I really hate that AIM!! So San, if you happen to see this, I tried!!!!!!

All Grown Up

This morning I went into my baby's room to get him ready for his milk. He was wide awake and playing in his crib when I got there. " Sunshine boy...." I called and he looked up and smiled at me, his two teeth showing ever so clearly. He looked so different this morning....he's got his first haircut yesterday........
He's no longer my little baby boy, he's now a toddler with his first big boy haircut. No longer the long hair covering his ears and bangs tickling his long eyelashes. He's got a shorter do which made his face look a whole lot more elongated. It was both pleasurable and saddening to see my little boy. No longer a baby....that's all I could think. In my heart, I'll always miss the long hair, his baby hair, but I know I would have to let that go. He's now a big boy and with new adventures awaiting for him.
